“A Gold Coast teenager has chalked up a milestone after being diagnosed with Leukemia two years ago. The 15-year-old who’s with the Gold Coast Suns Academy is back on track to achieve his AFL dream despite an ongoing health battle”….The headline says it all!!
Absolutely stoked to see one of our USP Young Gun Athletes Nathan Andrews play his milestone 100th game after sitting on the sidelines for the past 2 years as he battled cancer..
When I think about the this young man-I Think about a man who never complains…
Walks into the gym..doesn’t say much, just gives a nod and gets the job done..and lets his actions do the talking…
A young man that is humble, resilient, relentless…a role model and courageous!
An example for everyone..
Thanks to Channel 7’s Mitch Kroehn and Sean Lawson for the great coverage of the story!
All the best,
